FAUDAS is a Spanish federation of associations created in 2003. All those belonging to FAUDAS are or have been affected by problematic drug use and/or HIV/AIDS, and/or are in daily contact with the above-mentioned community.

FAUDAS brings together associations that share a common goal: to use the experience of peers to improve the living conditions and services of the entire community of people affected by drugs and HIV/AIDS, as well as to promote their involvement and participation in improving their situation.

Rejecting the victimisation and passive role which has been imposed on drug users, we have organised ourselves to actively promote a social change. We undertake this as organised citizens, who are aware of our individual and collective rights and assume our common responsibility.

Plataforma Drogológica is an activist network of drug users based in Barcelona, working for the rights of drug users. PD is composed of the following NGOs who operate across the Catalonian region in Spain: ARSU, ASUT, AGRUPAT, GRDB, PIGAD. As well as the NGOs, many individual activists are also affiliated to PD.
We work to support Harm Reduction Policies and Programs to reduce and mitigate and report the negative side effects that prohibitionist drugs policy produces on social and health levels.
The main goal of the Platform Drogològica is to get public recognition of the rights of drug users through the Memorial Day for the people who have died in relation to drug use (overdose, HIV/AIDS, hepatitis, marginalization ...) increasing the level of social awareness, promoting social dialogue and debate around the phenomenon of the criminalization of drugs and demanding their standardization and decriminalization.
